Out of the Mouths of Babes

I recently overheard the following conversation between two 14 year old girls taking place in the backseat of my car (one is my daughter)-------

"I don't understand, when we were in kindergarten they told us; don't fight, don't hit, no biting or pulling hair and don't push! Talk to each other and work out your differences"

To which the other recently turned 14 year old responded,

"and then in high school, they say; ' hey, how about joining the Army?' where they teach people to do the oppposite of what they told us NOT to do in kindergarten!"

They both sighed.

"Adults! Who understands them?"

"Yea" said the other…...
